Abstract
Nowadays Big Data is becoming a sort of buzzword, while it refers to a very precise architectures and principles.
In this course a model based approach to big data analytics is presented together with a detailed description on the mostly used ecosystems of tools and libraries
aimed at provide the computation and storage capabilities required to execute complex analytical tasks.
