Program & Abstract
The health information system is considered the most complex in the world: thanks to the global connectivity, health, clinical and administrative information can be exchanged between departments, hospitals, local health centers, general practioners, pharmacies, and the patients themselves. And advanced computer systems that operate the new diagnostic and therapeutic tools are in turn integrated with the health information system, making medical informatics an extremely challenging, constantly evolving scientific area. The course intends to give an overview of present and future methods and applications concerning this area.
