The University of Milan's regulations, contain the implementation of the rules of University Statute were adopted according to the Italian law n. 168 May 9th, 1989. The Regulations (available in Italian only) have been approved with the Chancellor decree of November 16th, 1999, and modified by Chancellor decrees of June 26, 2001, and July 9th, 2003.
The University of Milan rules on Research Doctorates provide, in accordance with the Art. 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22, all regulations for the definition and the organization of Ph.D. programs.
